ICSN students are expected to learn core subjects, and the majority of their other classes, in English. Therefore, they need to have grade level-appropriate working knowledge of the English language to be able to understand their teachers, understand concepts being presented, participate in class and complete homework assignments.
Because English is essential for success at ICSN, we offer support programs designed to help students develop their language ability to a level where they can be successful in their core classes. There is also additional support available, if needed. Eligibility for Learning Support will be evaluated and determined according to services needed and the recommended support plan.
