As we continue to grow and develop how we communicate what’s happening at ICSN (formerly known as GES), we want to also start highlighting the former students and alumni of our school. Our first official story in our “Where Are They Now?” series goes back to Mr. Kasidet (Tony) Hiranniramol from the graduating class of 2011.

After graduating from ICSN (formerly known as GES), Tony was accepted to Johns Hopkins University and majored in applied mathematics and statistics. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree, he worked as a biomedical research technician for 3 years before pursuing medical school at Saint Louis University (SLU) where he is expected to graduate in 2023. As a med school student, Tony enjoys learning about the human body and ways to combat disease; he is also a leader at SLU School of Medicine’s free Asthma and Allergy Clinic for people with limited access to healthcare, as well as a volunteer at its Cardiology Clinic.

We love hearing how our graduates and former students are doing in their lives after they’ve walked off this campus of ours; we may take up a small space in this world, but we have a lot of heart and passion when it comes to supporting our students as much as we can. Knowing that Tony felt confident going into college because of his English fluency (he started college in the native-level English classes and received straight A’s!) makes us all the more committed to further developing our school to help ICSN (formerly known as GES) students reach their life goals.

Best of wishes to you, Tony, as you continue to grow in leaps and bounds. We are cheering you on as you take on the next steps of your dreams — an excellent residency program — to becoming a successful physician and biomedical researcher!
