ICSN Robotics Wins Top Scores and Best Use of Sensor Award at 2025 RAT Foundation Competition

October 4, 2025 —International Christian School Nonthaburi’s (ICSN) RAT Bot robotics team achieved top scores and won the Best Use of Sensor Award at the Robotics, Automation & Technology for Education Foundation (RAT Foundation)’s kickoff celebration, held at Saint Andrews International School in Bangkok. ICSN competed alongside fifteen teams from seven international schools across Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Nonthaburi, Thailand. The event marks the first robotics competition of the year.

RAT Foundation’s Helter Skelter Robotics Competition in Thailand

The Robotics, Automation, and Technology for Education (RAT) Foundation hosted Helter Skelter, its only RAT event for 2025. Robotics teams put their coding skills to the ultimate test by making the robot move autonomously through a series of ramps and collect random cheese pieces scattered around in a tight three-minute time limit.

ICSN’s Robotics Team Wins Best Use of Sensor Award

International Christian School Nonthaburi is proud of the RAT Bot robotics team for winning the “Best Use of Sensor Award,” which specifically recognized the team’s effective application of sensors for complex autonomous navigation. They had only one month to design and build their robot from scratch. Their hard work and dedication clearly paid off!

Despite being pressed for time, ICSN’s RAT Bot team prepared well for the competition.

Looking Ahead

Following this success, ICSN’s robotics team is preparing for future challenges and looks forward to learning and competing in upcoming robotics competitions in Nonthaburi, Bangkok, and across Thailand.
